About Catrina

I once was an orphan in Romania with no hope of a future or love of a family. God moved in the hearts of my mom and dad [pictured to the left] through a 20/20 broadcast to fly halfway around the world to adopt me and bring me home to America. Through a series of miraculous works of our mighty God, I was saved and given wonderful parents.
After becoming the first in at least three generations of my biological lineage to learn how to read and write, I went on to earn a bachelors degree from Houston Baptist University studying History and Practical Theology.
Today I am married to the best man I know and have an actively playful son who keeps me on my toes. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, studying theology and history, sharing inside jokes with my mom, blogging, and cheering on the Astros (the best team in baseball).

Check out the blog which includes more in-depth details of my story and offers my latest writings!
